H-E-B's expansion to DFW seems to be growing every day with no signs of slowing down. It was recently announced that the Texas-based grocery store chain had purchased land in Prosper, and now, they have made yet another DFW purchase. The latest is in Rockwall, where H-E-B now owns a plot of land on the southwest corner of I-30 and John King Boulevard.
After years without an H-E-B in town, North Texas will soon have plenty to choose from. While nothing has been announced at this time, the grocery store chain's latest purchase of 12 acres makes many think another store could be announced soon. According to Dallas Morning News, H-E-B spokeswoman Mabrie Jackson confirmed the purchase but said there is no construction timeline.
Earlier this year, H-E-B purchased land in Fort Worth, however, like Prosper and Rockwall, no store has been announced at this time. Currently, the chain is building stores in Plano, McKinney, Allen, and Frisco. It's only a matter of time until more are announced.
