A Haltom City man has been identified as the driver who was killed when his SUV vaulted over the side of a bridge and landed in the Trinity River.
Fort Worth police say Joe Watson was heading down Beach Street just north of I-30 when he lost control of his Chevy Suburban.
A tow truck was called in to haul the SUV out of the water and it was only then that firefighters realized Watson was still inside.
Investigators have not decided how the crash happened.
