Meridan Zerner is a registered dietitian nutritionist with the Cooper Clinic in Dallas. She said this year's theme for National Nutrition Month is "Fuel for the Future," which captures the idea of eating healthily and sustainably.

Meridan Zerner joined the KRLD Afternoon News to discuss the best way to acknowledge this month.
