North Texas families shouldn’t have to choose between rent, medicine, and groceries. Yet for many, that’s the reality. North Texas Food Bank CEO Trisha Cunningham tells us it's a tough time.
"We know that right now whenever you have to start turning the heat on, utilities costs go up. Children are out of school for break so they're not getting those additional meals that they would have during the holiday season whenever they're off on break they're having to provide those additional meals and nourishment for the family," says Cunningham.
