Dallas (1080 KRLD) - The group planning to build a high-speed rail line between Dallas and Houston has won another victory in court.
The Texas Supreme Court decided not to hear a challenge to a lower court's ruling over eminent domain. That court had agreed that "Texas Central" could use eminent domain to obtain land for the project.
Opponents of the project say the company should not qualify as a railroad and they plan to ask for a rehearing in the case.
