There is no word yet on how it started, but the old Mineral Wells High School went up in flames last night and reports say the building is a total loss.
Officials say the fire started around 7:00 p.m. Sunday and destroyed the historic building. It was built back in 1913 and had been vacant the past few years.
According to the Weatherford Democrat, the school was used in varying capacities through 1973.
Fortunately no one was hurt.
