A hit-and-run suspect is dead after crashing into a pole in East Dallas about a mile from the Dallas Arboretum.
On Saturday morning, a driver told police that the same car had crashed into him on Ferguson Road and sped off.
Moments later, the hit-and-run driver crashed at Ferguson and Lakeland. The car was destroyed in the impact and the driver was dead when police and paramedics got there.
The first driver was not hurt.
