The five-day effort to construct the tallest indoor holiday tree in the United States is underway.
The construction gets underway this weekend and will be finished later next week.
The tree stands 95-feet-tall on the ice skating rink at Galleria Dallas at LBJ Freeway and the Dallas North Tollway.
50 people are needed to construct the tree which involved 700 branches. Each branch is a three foot to five foot tree itself.
The tree sits on a five ton steel frame.
The tree features LED lighting by the same Italian firm that creates the lighted tree at the Vatican.
