A Dallas homeless man has been found guilty of one of the two murders he's accused of.
When Dallas police solved one murder case with the arrest of 30-year old Nicholas Fields, they litterally stumbled onto another.
A jury has convicted Fields of killing David Betts in East Dallas a little more than a year ago. He was sentenced to 60-years in prison.
When police went to arrest Fields they found a second victim near his camp. At the time, Irving police say they also found evidence linking Fields to the East Dallas crime.
The second murder case is still pending and Dallas County prosecutors haven't said whether they will try that one.
