A Houston area truck driver has been identified as the victim who was killed in a big rig crash in Ellis County Monday.
DPS investigators say two trucks were heading north on I-45 between Ennis and Corsicana when one of the rigs struck the other while changing lanes.
The impact caused one of the rigs to overturn and burst into flames. One of the truck drivers, a Houston man identified as Reginald Fairley, was killed.
The other driver was a Conroe man, he was treated for minor injuries at the scene and did not need to go to the hospital.
The north-bound side of I-45 was closed for several hours for the cleanup and investigation.
