Communities in Schools of the Dallas Region are preparing for its 13th Annual Golf Tournament.
Funds raised will go towards supporting educational programs and providing resources for students in need.
CIS Board Member and Golf Committee Chair Karl Schmalz joined the KRLD Afternoon News to discuss the importance of this local nonprofit and how the upcoming tournament will support the children in North Texas to achieve success in school.
