A Hurst man is locked up because police believe he's been making bombs in his unit at the Valley Oaks Apartment complex on East Pipeline Road.

Police got a search warrant for 37-year-old Nicholas Lloyd Nelson's apartment and found explosive materials which bomb squad technicians believed to be unsafe to move. But they will have to be moved to a safe place to be destroyed.

Police are not saying what they think Nelson's intentions were.
