The Fort Worth man who claimed his wife died by suicide is now charged with her murder.
Police reports show that a woman identified as Paris Holbert was found shot in the couple's apartment in east Fort Worth on Sunday. She died at JPS hospital and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not yet ruled on whether the death is a suicide or a homicide.
But Fort Worth police say they have enough evidence to now charge her husband with murder. Police documents obtained by the Star-Telegram show that Robert Holbert told police on the scene that his wife had shot herself.
But police now obviously don't believe that.
