At this time of year, they're all about pickles in Mansfield. The 2023 Pickle Parade and Palooza is this weekend.

"It's a big community event," says Bob Kowalski from the esteemed Picked Mansfield Society Board. "It's free parking and free admission. We want to get people into historic Downtown Mansfield!"

Mansfield bills itself as the Pickle Capital of Texas, and boasts the "world's only St. Paddy's Pickle Parade."

It's a weekend you won't forget, with all kinds of entertainment, food, and unique competitions like a Corn Hole Tournament, Beer Keg Races, Pickle Juice drinking, Pickle eating and Pie eating contests.

"You'll get a chance to take a picture with the six foot tall dancing pickle dude, or one of our Pickle Queens," Kowalski adds.
