Investigators have a lot of questions after Dallas firefighters put out a car fire in a parking lot and discovered a body inside Thursday.
Dallas Fire-Rescue got a call yesterday afternoon about a car on fire in the parking lot of the Walmart store on Marsh Lane. Firefighters arrived and put out the flames. That's when they found a woman's body inside the vehicle.
Both Dallas Police and Dallas Fire-Rescue are investigating the case.
They say the woman had gone to the Walmart with a relative but stayed in the car while the relative went into the store.
They're reviewing video from security cameras in the parking lot for clues on how the fire may have started.
The woman's identity has not yet been released.
