Irving firefighter Aaron Donahue has been released from the hospital less than a week after he was badly hurt while working an accident scene.
Last Saturday, Donahue was hit by a wrong-way driver while working a multi-car crash on Highway 183. The drive,r an Arlington woman named Yajaira Estrada Calderon, was arrested and charged with intoxicated assault.
It will be awhile before Donahue can return to work and he will continue to recover at home.
