Irving police have identified the suspect in a street racing accident that killed a 19-year-old.
Police say it happened around 1:30 in the morning of June 25th near the intersection of North Beltline Road and Conflans Road. Police say before the accident several cars were racing and had the intersection shut down.
Investigators believe both cars involved in the wreck were either speeding to or from the scene when the suspect's car clipped the victim's car causing him to wreck into a tree. 19-year-old Joshua Reyes was killed, and police say they now know it was 29-year-old Daniel Cabrera of Grand Prairie behind the wheel. Police say he drove off after the accident and they're looking for him.
