Irving police have a mystery on their hands.
Yesterday, a man's body was found in the Trinity River near where it runs through the Irving Golf Course near Loop 12 and Shady Grove.
Police don't know the man's identity but say the body has numerous tattoos that might help identify him.
Irving police say the man is white or Hispanic and was in his 30s or 40s.
One tattoo on his back says "God Forgive Me." One shoulder has a woman's name: "Brenda." Another shoulder says "Joubert." And, the letters "SMC" are inked on his right forearm.
While they don't know the cause of death, detectives do not believe he's the victim of a crime.
