The Jewish community is expressing it's disappointment with the Keller ISD's decision to ban an adaptation of the "Diary of Anne Frank" from school libraries.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas and its Jewish Community Relations Council, along with the Jewish Federation of Fort Worth & Tarrant County issued a joint statment saying in part they are, "disappointed and concerned about the decision" adding "It is imperative that we teach our children about the Holocaust in age-appropriate ways so that nothing like the Holocaust can ever happen again."
The groups urged the Keller school district to reconsider it's decision.
The district says only a graphic adaptation of the "Diary of Anne Frank" was removed after a parent complained.
