For those JFK assassination and conspiracy buffs, you're going to have to wait a bit longer to see more government files on the shooting.

Today was to be the day that files from the CIA and FBI were to be released concerning the assassination of then President Kennedy.

In spring 2018, President Donald Trump delayed the release of the files for another 3 1/2 years after both agencies pleaded him to keep them under wraps.

Now the White House claims today's deadline will not be met because of delays related to COVID-19.

President Biden promised an intensive review over the next year, with some records released between Dec. 15 and the end of the year, and a comprehensive release in late 2022.

At least two members of the Kennedy family are upset with the move claiming the government shouldn't be trying to keep anything hidden concerning that dark day in Dallas.
