Joey Chestnut brings eating showdown to Dallas during State Fair Clásico at Cotton Bowl

Hot dog–eating champion Joey Chestnut is coming to Dallas for a halftime eating contest during the State Fair Clásico soccer match at the Cotton Bowl this Saturday at 4 p.m.

The event features Dallas Trinity FC taking on Club América Femenil, marking the first-ever State Fair Clásico at the historic stadium. Fans who purchase game tickets will also receive admission to the State Fair of Texas, giving them access to the fairgrounds before and after the match.

Chestnut, widely known for his record-breaking performances in competitive eating, will headline the halftime show with a fan-voted food challenge. Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate both sports and Texas fair culture in one of Dallas’ most iconic venues.
