A democrat from North Dallas was among those who were not moved to join the Senate deal in reopening the government.
Congresswoman Julie Johnson has been a vocal advocate to extend Obamacare subsidies that democrats had demanded be part of the original government funding deal weeks ago.
"Every day during this shutdown, my office has heard from thousands of families across my district saying 'For the love of God, save my healthcare,'" Congresswoman Johnson said on the House floor ahead of the vote.
Johnson had said she was a "Hell no" on voting for the compromise deal reached in the Senate.
It is not clear when serious bipartisan discussions could take place in Washington on possibly extending the subsidies.
