The attacks are heating up in a hotly-contested congressional race in Dallas County.
Both Congresswoman Julie Johnson and former Congressman Colin Allred are seeking the democratic nomination in the Texas runoff.
Allred has hit Johnson over stocks and Johnson is hitting back on Allred's record.
"I sold stocks in compliance with a stock-trading ban that I firmly believe in," Johnson said. "It's just disingenuous the way he is representing it. It's false, it's not accurate."
Johnson says she is focused on affordability including wages and housing as well as pushing back against the Trump administration and ICE.
"Trump's reckless war in Iran and gas prices. It's been really hard for people," Johnson said. "Housing, we have A.I. issues. There's all kinds of stuff that are permeating into the pocketbooks of the voters in a really challenging way."
Early voting continues through Friday with Election Day itself next Tuesday.
