More than three months after a State Fair of Texas crowd was sent into panic by gunfire, a court has lowered the bond for the accused shooter.

Cameron Turner was arrested shortly after a man and two women were wounded in the Fair Park Tower building which houses the crowded food court.

After the shooting, the fairgrounds were evacuated and the Fair opened several hours late the next day.

Since the shooting incident, Turner has been jailed on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bail was set at $500,000 on each count.

But now a judge has ruled that the $1.5 Million amount is too much and has lowered the bond to $350,000.

Customarily, an inmate needs to post ten percent of the bail. In this case, it will be about $35,000 for him to be released. As of this morning at 9 a.m. Turner has not yet made bail.
