Jury selection begins today in the case of Billy Chermirmir, the accused mass murderer who is suspected in the deaths of at least 18 elderly women in North Texas.
Five months ago, his first capital murder prosecution ended in a mistrial.
The retrial begins Monday and lawyers have today and tomorrow to pick a new jury.
Police and prosecutors believe Chermirmir, a former home health care worker, preyed on his elderly victime in senior living facilities across North Texas.
