Burleson native and Grammy-winning singer Kelly Clarkson has announced she will end The Kelly Clarkson Show after its seventh season to focus on her children and family, show producers confirmed Tuesday.

The daytime talk series will continue airing new episodes through fall 2026, with Clarkson stepping away from hosting duties once the current season concludes.

Clarkson, who was born and raised in Burleson south of Fort Worth, launched the syndicated talk show in 2019 following her success as a pop artist and American Idol winner.

The program became known for celebrity interviews, musical performances and heartfelt personal stories, earning multiple Daytime Emmy Awards over its run.

In filing statements and interviews shared by People and other entertainment outlets, Clarkson emphasized her desire to spend more time with her family and young children as they grow, calling the decision a personal priority.

No announcements have been made yet about potential guest hosts or a successor for the show’s timeslot once Clarkson departs.

The end of the series marks a high-profile shift for daytime television and draws attention in North Texas, where Clarkson’s local roots remain a point of pride for fans who have followed her rise from Burleson to national fame.
