An injured owl is recovering after Kennedale police rescued the little bird they found in the middle of the street this week.
Officers on the evening shift found the owl on Dick Price Road Tuesday night. The believe the bird has been struck by a car.
After caring for the owl through the night they took it to an animal rehab center in Fort Worth yesterday.
