Join the KRLD Afternoon News live at Pickler Universe in Carrollton on Friday and start the weekend with free pickleball and happy hour.
The SMASH Social features free pickleball from 2-6 p.m. and a special happy hour presented by Pace-4-Texas, an organization focused on growing the game of pickleball. P.A.C.E. stands for Pickleball and Community Engagement.
Attendees 21 years old and older can enjoy a free Stella Artois and Mr. Jim’s Dot Pizza will be on hand too.
Pace-4-Texas will also be at Pickler Universe on Saturday for Family Fun Day, offering Pickleball 101, Stretch 101, the chance to play with a pro, and organized open play.
Stop by and say hi to Kristin Diaz and David Rancken, who will broadcast the KRLD Afternoon News from 3-7 p.m.
