Our App today is called Smart Dash Cam.
This could be a very important app to have if you want to document everything you see on the roads in front of you.
You don't have to buy a fancy dashcam, when your smartphone can do anything that those expensive models can do.
It can automatically catch anything as it watches out for any kind of possible collision. OR you can switch out and just start recording everything you see manually.
The app can record with audio or without, if you don't need to hear any comments that you might make behind the wheel. It displays the time and speed on the video as well as the map of where you are.
The app will record up to an hour of video at a time. It will also let you tell it how much of the phone's hard drive you want to devote to your recordings, before it records over the oldest ones.
Upload your videos to the cloud if you want to save that space, too. Those videos are also shareable. Smart Dash Cam is a free app on iTunes and Android. It has a subscription model.
