Country music star Lainey Wilson was announced Sunday as the halftime performer for the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game, continuing a long-standing tradition of star-studded performances.

The Cowboys' Thanksgiving halftime show has featured artists such as Creed, the Jonas Brothers, and Dolly Parton. This year, Wilson will take center stage at AT&T Stadium, marking the launch of the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign.

Wilson hinted at a special addition to the performance, teasing that she will be joined by a surprise guest.

The Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game is a major NFL event, with the halftime show serving as a platform for both music and charity.
