Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ series “Landman” is hiring background extras in North Texas as Season 3 filming ramps up later this month in Fort Worth and Haslet.
The Dallas Morning News reports Legacy Casting posted open calls on MyCastingFile for work from Sept. 24 through Sept. 30. Pay listed on the notices runs from $110 for a 10-hour day to $200 for a 12-hour night shoot.
Applicants must create an account on MyCastingFile and submit there. Casting asked for no phone calls or emails. Roles include midstream oil workers on Sept. 25 in Fort Worth at $110 for 10 hours, with a possible costume fitting; neighbors with vehicles on Sept. 29-30 in Haslet at the same rate, with extras asked to drive or park their own cars and to skip red or white vehicles; and a “Latino oil thief” part for Latino men ages 25 to 45 on night shoots Sept. 24-25 in Fort Worth at $200 for 12 hours, with a prefitting.
Actor James Jordan has said filming would start in North Texas in September and run into early 2027. Billy Bob Thornton returns as Tommy Norris. Paramount+ announced Michael Kelly of “Lioness” is joining Season 3 as William Crockett, head of a major oil management firm. No premiere date is set.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram also lists oil-services office workers in Fort Worth on Sept. 25 and a general neighbors call in Haslet on those same late-September dates. Prior seasons filmed around Fort Worth, including downtown, the Stockyards and Alliance.
MyCastingFile posted that Dallas-Fort Worth “Landman 3” notices from Legacy Casting are live and that profiles and photos should be updated before submitting.
