With large crowds expected at the polls during early voting, experts have some tips on how you can help keep those lines moving.
By now, most of you know who you will vote for for president and, probably, U.S. Senator. But what about your state representative? Your school board member? Your appellate judge? Maybe you have a bond package or two to decide on.
Tarrant County Elections Administrator Heider Garcia says to make casting your ballot less daunting, you can print out a sample ballot at home, fill it out and bring it with you to the polling place.
And in Tarrant County and some of the other larger counties, you can actually print out a customized sample ballot that only contains the races pertinent to your district.
In most other counties, you will need to weed out the races that don't apply to you yourself.
Remember, during early voting in all counties and on Election Day in certain counties, you can vote at any polling place in your home county. And Garcia says if you live in Tarrant County, you can actually see how long the lines are at all polling places on the county's elections website.
