National Black Business Month is celebrated in August — it’s a time to acknowledge and appreciate black-owned businesses across the nation and all that they represent in the country’s continual striving for diversity and equality.
Legacy West in Plano is hosting a series of events and offerings to celebrate National Black Business Month, but honoring those black-owned businesses that particularly hail from the DFW Metroplex.
Leah Fraiser with Think Three Media is one of the partnering organizers, she joined the KRLD Afternoon News to discuss all that is planned for Friday through Sunday, including pop ups-to games-and even a fashion show.
