The lenders are foreclosing on one of the tallest skyscrapers in Dallas.
The Renaissance Tower at Elm and Field Street is 56-stories, making it the third tallest building in the downtown area.
New York-based Square Mile Capital is taking control and has begun transferring leases.
One of the highest-profile tenants had been Neiman Marcus which kept its central offices in the tower a few blocks from its flagship store on Main. Last month, though, Neiman Marcus which is having its own financial woes, vacated its lease at Renaissance through bankruptcy proceedings.
