A Lewisville man faces five arson indictments and investigators say more charges may be in the offing.
Zainul Bandeali, 63, is charged with setting fire to three cars and setting fire to two buildings.
Bandeali first became of interest to Lewisville Police when a car was found burning at the Winsor Court apartments where he lived.
"Over the course of the last year and a half, fire investigators were able to track him, do some investigation of him and we believe he is responsible for 11 vehicle fires at Winsor Apartments," said Matt Matucci, spokesman for the Lewisville Police Department.
The indictments accuse Bandeali of three of those 11 automobile fires, with setting fire to a nearby tire store and with trying to set fire at a second apartment building. Neither of the building fires did much damage, said Matucci.
Police say Bandeali is still a suspect in the remaining 8 car fires at his apartment complex.
