A Lewisville woman and her four-year-old son are in the hospital and police are looking for the man who shot them Tuesday evening.
Report say the two were shot in what police call a "domestic violence incident" at Timbers 121, an apartment complex on Highway 121 near I-35.
Reports say the mother was shot in the legs and the little boy was grazed on his tummy. Their wounds are not life threatening.
Witnesses recognized the shooter as the woman's boyfriend who is the father of the boy. He remains on the run.
