Severe storms that moved across North Texas early Monday led to three structure fires in Princeton, all caused by lightning, the Princeton Fire Department said.
The first fire was reported at 10:50 a.m. on Wildflower Way, where firefighters responded as a mutual aid partner to Lowry Crossing and quickly extinguished the flames.
At 11:06 a.m., a second fire broke out on Pebble Brook Lane. That blaze was fully involved, prompting assistance from the Farmersville, Lucas, and Melissa fire departments.
A third lightning-related fire occurred within Princeton city limits later in the morning. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
