Dallas (1080 KRLD) - Today Angela West, the wife of Republican gubernatorial candidate Allen West, was ordered not only have to get an interlock device put in her car, but report to an adult services officer for alcohol monitoring.
Yesterday Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia shared a dashcam video, of an incident last Friday when West was pulled over and arrested for DWI. Garcia says his officer was falsely vilified by Allen West and the arrest was warranted.
Today Allen West took to Twitter, blasting the department claiming the video was highly edited and didn't include a portion in which West tells the officer about her brain aneurysm.
West has claimed his wife was NOT drinking that evening and awaits the results of the official blood toxicology.
The 61-year-old was traveling with her 2-year-old grandson who was in the backseat at the time.
