The Lubbock man who nearly died running the Cowtown Marathon in May was reunited with the medical professionals who saved his life.

Yesterday, Bryce Schilling received a banner reading "Survivor" which was by the doctors, nurses, MedStar paramedics and others who helped rescue him.

Schilling was within sight of the finish line when he collapsed, nearly dying from cardiac arrest. But paramedics were right there with CPR, keeping Schilling alive on the way to the hospital where he was stabilized.

With a new lease on life, Schilling decided he wanted to share it with his girlfriend who says "yes" when he proposed in Fort Worth over the weekend.
