Missing for more than a week, a Lubbock teenager has been found safe in northern Michigan, more than 1,400 miles from her home.
Police say 14-year-old Mattie Worley was last seen outside her middle school on November 13th.
Police had help from a missing children's search-and-rescue organization made up of veterans and former law enforcement officers.
Yesterday, Mattie was found at a man's home in Alden, Michigan.
The man is now locked up. Mattie was taken to the hospital to get checked out.
A reunion with her parents is now being planned.
