Luka Doncic recorded a triple-double, with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists, to lead the Lakers to a 107-99 win over the Mavericks at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

Despite struggling with his shot, going 6 of 17 from the field, Doncic's playmaking abilities shone through.

LeBron James played a crucial role, scoring 16 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter to help secure the win. The game was marked by Doncic's emotional interactions with his former teammates and the Mavericks' bench.

Lakers fans showed their appreciation for the trade by chanting "Thank you, Nico!" in reference to Mavericks' general manager Nico Harrison, who was in attendance.

Kyrie Irving led the Mavericks with 35 points, while Klay Thompson added 22. The victory marked the Lakers' third straight win and their 13th in 16 games.
