Downtown Dallas will again close portions of Main Street on Saturday for the second time during the World Cup.
Downtown Dallas Inc. is behind the Main Street Social Saturdays for the duration of the tournament.
Shalissa Perry with Downtown Dallas Inc. says this began with a pilot program last Halloween.
"We've been planning for over a year," Perry said. "The City of Dallas is integral in this, and they have been our partner from day one."
Main Street between Akard and Harwood will be shut down to vehicle traffic from 9:00am through 3:00pm on Saturday.
People can enjoy art on display as well as music and a market. There are several places in that area of downtown to shop as well.
