The man accused of opening fire at the State Fair of Texas in 2023 has pleaded guilty.
23-year-old Cameron Turner made the plea ahead of the trial which was scheduled to begin this week.
The shooting took place inside the Tower Building which serves as a food court during the fair.
Turner told police he was defending himself at the time of the shooting but video appeared to show him alone at the time of the shooting.
He was sentenced to 12-years in prison on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and 10 years for unlawfully carrying a weapon.
Three people were wounded.
