The two innocent victims have been identified as a Fort Worth man named Jeffrey Mazurowski and a Fort Worth woman named Lailani Snell.

The man driving the pick-up, Chassity Brooks, is now behind bars in the Tarrant County jail on Capital Murder charges.

During the original carjacking, a man was stabbed in the face and the neck. He was listed in critical condition Wednesday and there have been no updates since then.

Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes says after the stabbing, Brooks stole the victim’s truck and drove it into a game room, killing Jeffrey Mazurowski inside. Then he drove away from the game room and hit Lailani Snell, who was sitting at a bus stop about a mile down the road, killing her.
