A man is under arrest after police say he stabbed a friend during an argument in the parking lot of a Grapevine furniture store, sending the victim to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the stabbing happened after a dispute over a flat tire escalated between the two men outside the store. Investigators say the driver pulled out a knife during the argument and stabbed his friend, who was treated at a hospital and is expected to survive.

Officers arrested the suspect at the scene and booked him on an aggravated assault charge. Police have not released the names of those involved, and no other injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
