The boyfriend and girlfriend suspected in the February shooting death of a Denton High School student have both been indicted.
Marcus Williams, 19 Sanger, will face a capital murder trial and Gabrielle Cortes, 17 Denton, has been charged with aggravated robbery.
Police say on February 3rd, 16-year-old Ely Gomez was found shot in his car near Denton's Denia Park. He died at the hospital. A girl, 17-year-old Gabrielle Cortes was in the car with him and described the masked killer.
With that information along with other clues, detectives began looking for the Cortes' boyfriend, Marcus Williams who is now locked up on a murder charge.
Police say they have video footage showing Williams following the car Gomez was driving leading up to the shooting.
