The man arrested for making threats at TCU on Thursday has now been identified as a former student named Ahmad Tyree Peterson-Adeyanju who remains jailed today in the Tarrant County jail.

The Fort Worth police SWAT team was called in Thursday after police were notified about a man on campus making threats against TCU staff.

When officers arrived, they found Peterson-Adeyanju alone in a car and he refused to get out.

Police saw him open the door and heard him threaten to blow up the campus. That's when a SWAT team was called, and after a while Peterson-Adeyanju got out and surrendered.

His car was searched and no explosives were found. However, police did find a loaded pistol shoved underneath the driver's seat.

Checking Peterson-Adeyanju's social media, threats were found along with a list of demands that the university address the treatment of minority students.
