A man is locked up in Dallas County where he's accused of trying to buy a vehicle using someone else's ID.
Reports say a man identified as Kisi Moeakiola was arrested as soon as he signed the paperwork at the dealership. Dallas County Sheriff's detectives say they got a call from the dealership saying this would-be buyer was using a paper ID in the name of a Cedar Hill man.
Deputies showed up and arrested Moeakiola before he could drive off. He was booked into the Dallas County jail on a string of charges including "making a false statement to obtain property or credit."
