With the World Series beginning in Arlington, police arrested a man Thursday accusing him in at least two apparently random cases of gunfire on or near a stretch of West Arbrook near Cooper.
Police say the first incident was on September 27th and the second was just this week.
The neighborhood was terrorized, not knowing when it might happen next. Police had an idea of the suspect they wanted, identifying him as Kelechi Ezugwu.
Working on a tip, they found him yesterday at a business on South Cooper near Arbrook. Ezugwu is jailed on two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
