A Wise County man is locked up on a murder charge, accused of shooting his stepson, a senior at Boyd High School, authorities say.
According to the Wise County Sheriff's Office, the high school senior was fatally shot after a quarrel with his step-father Joshua Earwood, who remains behind bars at the Wise County Jail.
Wise County Sheriff's investigators have not said what started the argument. A GoFundMe page established on behalf of the vicitm's mother says she "...was left in a terrible situation with no money to even honor the loss of her child with a funeral."
